(Some, okay, an unusual majority) of my exes are from Texas. It was one of my first trips as a kid where I really felt like I was headed (South) West. I have favorite places to be outside of any of the cities. It’s one of my favorite places to go find vintage and records and eat breakfast tacos. I like to visit when I’m feeling a little heartbroken, want to interact with a friendly stranger, or sit and have a milkshake before going to Barton Springs. Austin, Texas always seems to boomerang back to me for some reason or another at various points.

That said, here’s one of my longer playlists that pulls a lot from my mid-twenties ..and honestly one that could have kept going.
