I had the opportunity to sit down with Canvas Rebel Magazine and discuss the creative side of my work. Being in the sciences I oftentimes don’t get to exercise the same level of creativity I do when I pick a regional story to tell or an interpretation of a place or nature. I’ve found it extremely helpful to keep mentors on both sides of the spectrum, so I can always have a perspective to balance me out or push me into the direction I’m missing.
